Taranabant - newly invented superior weight loss medication

Obesity is rapidly becoming a huge problem in society today, and with that is a developing demand for medications to combat obesity. Taranabant is the generic name for a newly invented weight loss medication discovered by basically reversing the well known effects of cannabis-induced food desires and Taranabant also helps people lose that extra weight without exercising or a diet.

From published scientific tests, people who took the experimental drug Taranabant ate one third fewer calories than people taking a placebo (empty pill capsule) and lost a notable and effective amount of weight for the trial time period. The amazing idea and the designed concept of the drug Taranabant is to have exactly the opposite hunger effect on the brain as cannabis - a commonly smoked illegal drug known as marijuana that is universally known to cause hunger, also known as "the munchies".

Something scientists have discovered is that when people smoke marijuana, certain substances in the drug stimulate a recently discovered part of the brain known as the cannabinoid receptors, creating the effects of hunger as well as other effects such as relaxation and euphoria.

Taranabant has exactly the opposite effect of marijuana by blocking the cannabinoid receptors – and therefore decreasing appetite.

Major studies have determined that overweight patients taking Taranabant consume 27 per cent less calories every 24 hours than those who where unknowingly taking the placebo (empty pill capsule). Metabolism was noted to be increased as well with the test subjects taking Taranabant - they even burned calories while resting and thus using up more stored fat.

Astoundingly even the test subjects taking a small dosage of Taranabant where able lose weight, the experiment found.

Taranabant is actually not the first weight loss medication developed to target and block the brain's cannabinoid receptors.

Another medication that has been developed and is becoming well known is Rimonabant. This medication is similar to Taranabant in controlling your appetite, weight, and energy use and your metabolism. One great advantage of rimonabant is that it can also decrease a smoker's carving for the drug nicotine, helping those wishing to quit smoking and not gain excess weight. Rimonabant’s disadvantage however is that it has many side effects that are not found with Taranabant.
